In 2024, my passion for painting transitioned from weekly community art classes to setting up my first studio on Main Street in Downtown Gloucester, MA. I worked with images from my dance career of students, colleagues and myself, as well as heros in our midst, and developed a practice that shifted from playful experimentation to representation and trying to find the middle of the two. It was my first deep dive into painting on my own terms.
